History of the SS

Never before has the history of the SS  - the Nazi party's military arm - been given in such an easy-to-digest form, woven around the life and career of SS chief Heinrich Himmier. Avoiding the usual dry chronological recital of facts, G. S. Graber reveals aspects of the SS not widely known before now: the SS rituals; how the SS also functioned as a business organization; and how the key SS men (Himmler, Heydrich, Eichmann and others) operated within the SS - and often against each other.
