The Indigenous Patterns and Hotel Okura (good condition)
OverzichtThe Hotel Okura in Tokyo was first opened in 1962. The hotel was a luxurious example of the best in modernist design, whilst also being a living museum to traditional Japanese arts and decoration. The main wing was demolished in 2015 and a new taller building is currently under construction. The Indigenous Patterns and Hotel Okura is a historic document of the fittings and fixtures, the materials, designs and patterns used in this modernist masterpiece.
